Refund Policy
This page explains how CTRON Loop handles subscription renewals, cancellation timing, and when refunds may or may not be available.
Last updated: June 21, 2026
1. Subscription billing model
CTRON Loop paid plans are sold as recurring monthly subscriptions. Charges are processed through Stripe using the plan and billing details shown during checkout and in the in-app billing area.
2. General refund rule
Except where required by law, subscription charges are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started. This includes partial-month usage, forgotten cancellations, failed experiments, or reduced use after the charge has been processed.
3. When refunds may be considered
- Duplicate charges for the same subscription period.
- A billing error caused directly by CTRON Loop or Stripe session misconfiguration.
- A charge taken after a confirmed cancellation where access should already have ended.
- Any situation where a refund is required under applicable consumer law.
4. Cancellation timing
You can cancel at any time through the billing portal linked from the CTRON Loop billing page. Cancellation stops the next renewal; it does not normally reverse the current billing period.
After cancellation, your paid access should continue until the end of the active paid period unless the plan is refunded or applicable law says otherwise.
5. Free plan and AI usage costs
The free plan does not create a subscription charge. CTRON Loop also does not bill you for AI usage because task execution runs on your own connected provider account under the BYOK model.
Any charges from OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity, or another connected provider are governed by that provider's billing terms and are not refundable by CTRON Loop.
6. Charge disputes
If you believe a charge is incorrect, raise it promptly through the billing or account contact channel associated with your subscription so it can be reviewed before filing a chargeback where possible.
Filing a chargeback may lead to temporary account restrictions while the billing issue is investigated.
